Minn. signs breast density notification bill into law

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton signed breast density reporting legislation into law on May 21, making Minnesota the 16th state to adopt this type of legislation.

The bill, HF 2402, will go into effect on August 1.

The other states with breast density notification laws are Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
