Samsung Electronics is providing tablets for patients as part of a breast cancer pilot program at Athens Medical Center's Breast Health Center in Athens, GA.
Samsung will provide its Galaxy Tab tablets to help create custom solutions for patients battling breast cancer through the MyJourney Compass pilot program. The initiative is the brainchild of the Georgia Institute of Technology Enterprise Innovation Institute.
The program makes customized content from the American Cancer Society available for patients through an intuitive interface developed by tablet software developer Breezie that runs on Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablets.
