Fairfax Radiology in Virginia has chosen to incorporate ScreenPoint Medical's Transpara breast artificial intelligence (AI) software into its imaging centers.
The software will help radiologists in identifying potential breast malignancies earlier, Fairfax said.
Transpara has clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has European regulatory approval for use with 2D and 3D mammography images from multiple manufacturers, according to ScreenPoint.
