Case report: Necrotizing pancreatitis after SAE
Splenic artery embolization (SAE) is a relatively safe, effective, and commonly employed nonoperative treatment of high-grade traumatic splenic injury or low-grade injury with active extravasation. In this case report, clinicians report a case of interval necrotizing pancreatitis -- a rare and potentially life-threatening complication of SAE.
