3-D software developer Able Software of Lexington, MA, has released a new version of its 3-D Doctor image visualization, rendering, and measurement software package. Version 3.0.5h includes improvements to 3-D Doctor’s real-time volume and surface rendering algorithms, calculation of 3-D volume and surface area, and new 3-D image processing functions such as 3-D reslicing along an arbritary axis, color fusion, and focus fusion. Available now, 3-D Doctor costs $2400 per license.
