Three-dimensional-software developer Vital Images has appointed Jay Miller as president and CEO. Miller, who most recently served as general manager and vice president of business development, replaces Albert Emola. The Minneapolis-based vendor did not provide any additional information on Emola's departure.
In other news, Vital Images said that its outlook for the fourth quarter and fiscal 2001 remains unchanged from previous guidances. The firm will report its complete results on February 12.
