Three-dimensional-software developer Able Software of Lexington, MA, has released a new version of its 3-D Doctor image visualization, rendering, and measurement software for CT and MRI. Release 3.5 includes new functions for quantitative analysis and 3-D color image processing, as well as improved surface- and volume-rendering algorithms.
The application’s quantitative analysis functions are used to calculate histogram, size, and volume for tumor size measurement and cancer treatment applications. The 3-D image processing functions support color image segmentation, image registration for multimodality images, and image fusion. The product supports multiple formats of image files, including DICOM.
Available now, version 3.5 is priced at $4,800 per license for retail use and $2,400 per license for academic users.
