Three-dimensional-software developer Vital Images reported revenue for its fiscal 2003 second quarter of $7.5 million, up 54% from $4.9 million reported in the same period last year. The Plymouth, MN-based company posted net income of $666,000 for the quarter (end-June 30), compared with net income of $201,000 in the second quarter of 2002.
For the first half of its fiscal year, Vital Images reported revenue of $14.3 million, a 54% increase compared with $9.3 million for the same period of 2002. The company recorded net income of $1.3 million for the first half of 2003 compared with a net loss of $46,000 for the first half of the prior year.
