Viatronix gets FDA nod

Three-dimensional-software developer Viatronix has received Food and Drug Administration clearance to apply its V3D general-purpose 2-D/3-D medical imaging workstation for x-ray imaging data. V3D already supports CT, MR, PET, and SPECT images, according to the Stony Brook, NY-based vendor.
