Image display developer Barco and Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, have renewed an agreement to integrate Barco's 3D medical imaging software with Fuji's Synapse PACS.
Facilities using Synapse version 3.1 or greater will be able to utilize the latest version, 5.1, of Barco's Voxar visualization and analysis software, according to the Kortrijk, Belgium-based firm.
The new Barco software features an optional vessel analysis module, VesselMetrix, which provides a clinical protocol-based workflow for quantitative analysis of contrast-enhanced CT angiography (CTA) and MR angiography (MRA) studies, including stenosis, stent and stent graft planning, and stent graft surveillance, the company said.
