Advanced visualization software provider Vital Images reported record revenue of $13.2 million in its fiscal 2005 third quarter, up 42% compared with the $9.2 million turned in for the third quarter of 2004.
For the period (end-September 30), the Minneapolis-based firm had net income of $1.6 million, demonstrating robust growth when compared with net income of $670,000 for the same period last year.
For the 2005 full year, Vital Images said it was raising its guidance for total revenue to a range of $49.5 million to $51.5 million, up from its prior revenue guidance of $48 million to $50 million. These revenue levels represent a 37% to 43% increase over 2004 revenue of $36.1 million, the company said.
