UltraRad of Largo, FL, and 3mensio Medical Imaging will collaborate on the distribution of 3viseon 3D visualization technology in the U.S., and UltraRAD will incorporate the 3D technology from the Bilthoven, Netherlands-based 3mensio in its product portfolio.
The 3D visualization technique is designed to help radiologists and referring physicians interpret larger image datasets produced by the new generation of CT and MR scanners. The new FDA-cleared 3D functionality already is integrated in UltraRad's current products.
