New corporate relationships will be highlighted in the booth of this London, U.K.-based developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) software.
Medicsight will be touting a new alliance with 3mensio Medical Imaging, an advanced visualization firm based in Bilthoven, Netherlands. Medicsight will incorporate the graphics processing unit-based technology developed by 3mensio into new and existing Medicsight products, including its ColonCAD and LungCAD software.
The 3mensio technology will enable Medicsight to expand its advanced clinical applications with 3D advanced visualization techniques, according to the company. 3mensio will also be announcing the availability of Medicsight CAD applications within its 3viseon 3D workstation. The Medicsight applications included under the deal are ColonCAD and LungCAD.
Also look for Medicsight to promote its existing relationships with advanced visualization firms such as Vital Images of Minneapolis, TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, and Viatronix of Stony Brook, NY.
Finally, Medicsight is expected to use the RSNA show to announce the upcoming launch of Medicexchange.com, a new Internet portal that will enable imaging professionals to pay for and download advanced visualization software applications.
