Mint Labs adds $3M to coffers

Advanced visualization and image analytics software developer Mint Labs has raised $3 million in a seed investment round.

The financing round was led by a California-based private family office team with additional funds contributed by private investors such as Biogen co-founder and Nobel laureate Dr. Walter Gilbert, Stephen Schweich, and others, according to Mint Labs. The company said it would use the funds to deliver new processing tools to help investigators around the world discover and develop new imaging biomarkers.

Mint Labs has developed a cloud-based neuroimaging platform for hospitals, research centers, and pharmaceutical companies to drive the discovery and development of new brain disease treatments, the company said. It supports data collection, data management, image processing, 3D visualization, and sharing.
