Augmented reality developer Body Vision Medical has received $8.5 million from a new financing round led by the company's chairman, Zohar Gilon.
About 20 technology entrepreneurs and investors from Israel also participated in the funding round, according to Body Vision. The firm said it would use the proceeds to accelerate the commercialization efforts of its LungVision fusion imaging platform in the U.S. and to extend its product line.
