Brazil clears iSchemaView's Rapid imaging software

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency has approved cerebrovascular imaging software developer iSchemaView's Rapid imaging application for use in that country.

Rapid provides physicians with automated and easy-to-interpret imaging for better clinical decision-making for stroke, the company said. Its artificial intelligence (AI) framework combines deep learning, machine learning, and feature extraction; it can be used with CT perfusion, MR diffusion and perfusion, CT angiography, and the Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS). Rapid then delivers data via PACS, email, text, or the Rapid app, iSchemaView said.
