Lung imaging software developer Vida Diagnostics has received market authorization in Japan for its Vida Insights software.
Vida Insights is a software platform that allows healthcare providers to visualize the lungs and help validate abnormalities, including emphysema. Its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered algorithms process medical images automatically, augmenting visual radiology analyses with quantitative results.
Clairvo Technologies, a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, secured the software's certification from Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency.
