Andrew Weiss, former president and CEO of Applied Biometrics, has been named vice president and general manager of surgical navigation technologies at Medtronic. Representatives of the Minneapolis-based interventional device company said that Weiss would be located in the company’s Louisville, CO, facility.
The surgical navigation technologies group manufactures the StealthStation Treon treatment guidance system, an image-based navigation system for cranial, spinal, and orthopedic surgery.
