Acuson gets CE Mark for AcuNav

Ultrasound vendor Acuson has received the CE Mark for its AcuNav diagnostic ultrasound catheter, allowing the firm to distribute AcuNav in the European Union. AcuNav provides real-time mapping of the heart, direct imaging of blood flow, and visualization of other catheters during minimally invasive procedures, according to the Mountain View, CA-based Siemens subsidiary.
