Radiotherapy developer BrainLab said it has made the 60th sale of its radiosurgery system, Novalis Shaped Beam Surgery, to the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, headquartered in Great Neck, New York.
Novalis is a dedicated software-driven neurosurgery technology that can treat benign and malignant tumors, vascular malformations, and functional disorders with single or multifractionation and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), according to the Munich, Germany-based vendor.
