Computer-assisted orthopedic surgery technology firm Orthosoft of Montreal and implant manufacturer Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics have released a visualization software and instrument combination, AchieveCAS Knee 2.0, for minimally invasive knee replacement surgery.
The product is part of a surgical navigation system developed by Orthosoft that provides guidance and visualization features that enable smaller incisions and more accurately aligned implant placement, according to the firm.
