Radiation therapy vendor Varian Medical Systems has introduced its Acuity brachytherapy suite, designed to allow doctors to provide real-time image-guided brachytherapy treatments.
The suite combines Varian's Acuity imaging system with technology for planning and delivering brachytherapy treatments, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor. It's currently in use at four major U.S. cancer clinics, Varian said.
