Portable scanner developer NeuroLogica and surgical products provider Steris announced that they plan to collaborate on intraoperative surgical suites.
The combined suites will include NeuroLogica's BodyTom, a full-body, 32-slice, portable CT scanner, and CereTom, a small-bore, portable CT scanner designed for head and neck scans, as well as Steris' LED surgical lighting and visualization systems, its Harmony iQ and OR equipment management systems, and its surgical imaging tables.
The two companies said they plan to use Steris' 3D Room Builder software to design and integrate their technologies for their clinical partners.
