DePuy Synthes Companies has signed an exclusive worldwide sales agreement with Radlink to offer real-time image guidance with its hip-replacement systems.
In an announcement made at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting in Las Vegas, the firms said that DePuy Synthes Companies has exclusive rights to market Radlink's Galileo Positioning System (GPS) featuring Surgeon's Checklist for use with hip-replacement systems from DePuy Synthes.
GPS provides real-time intraoperative imaging and navigation designed to help surgeons address challenges in hip replacement, such as component positioning, sizing, leg length, and offset restoration for all surgical approaches.
