Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab saw a 30% jump in sales of its ExacTrac patient position-monitoring device in the last fiscal year.
In addition, since 2013, the company has seen a 90% increase in upgrades among its existing ExacTrac customers.
ExacTrac is part of the company's Novalis Tx and TrueBeam STx radiosurgery platforms. It allows users to deliver precise radiosurgery to brain and body tumors and can be used with multiple linear accelerator technologies, including those from Elekta, Siemens Healthcare, and Varian Medical Systems, the company said.
