Image-guidance firm Lumicell said it has moved to a larger headquarters in Newton, MA.
The company's Lumicell system for breast cancer surgery is currently in late-stage development. The system features an investigational optical contrast agent, LUM015, and a handheld imaging device to enable cancer surgeons to see and remove cancer cells in real-time during surgeries.
The Lumicell system was developed by engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) along with breast cancer surgeons, the company said.
