The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared XACT Robotics' robotics system for CT-guided percutaneous interventional procedures.
XACT Robotics System is a hands-free device that allows users to plan and navigate procedures using imaging. It was developed at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, by Moshe Shoham, DSc, founder of Mazor Robotics.
