At the RSNA 2020 meeting, C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging is highlighting its Vision RFD Hybrid Edition in combination with Therenva's EndoNaut software for advanced endovascular 3D intraoperative navigation. The company is also touting Ziehm Vision RFD 3D.
Earlier this year, Ziehm acquired French-based imaging software developer Therenva, which specializes in cardiovascular procedures. Combining Ziehm's Vision RFD Hybrid Edition and Thereneva's EndoNaut means physicians benefit from interventional imaging with 3D intraoperative navigation. The pair are working to co-develop new image-based decision-support systems in the cardiovascular field and potentially other clinical areas, they said.
Ziehm Vision RFD 3D has complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology with 2D and 3D functionality and reduces the need for postoperative CT scans and costly corrective surgeries, the firm added.
