Advanced visualization software provider Vital Images is featuring its Vital Solutions portfolio at this year's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The Vital Solutions components the Minneapolis, MN-based company is highlighting include its Vitrea software, complete with CAD-driven workflow features; VitalConnect, a server-based rendering software with Vitrea-like performance and tools that allow radiologists to collaborate with other physicians; and VitalCardia, an image analysis package that handles 3D and 4D cardiac imaging data.
Vital Images has forged a number of partnerships this year. The company's PACS partners include McKesson Imaging Group, Eclipsys, Sectra, and DR Systems. New York City firm Medis Technologies' quantitative cardiac MR application complements Vital Image's cardiac CT analysis package. On the CAD side, Vital Images is working with R2 Technology to provide automatic lung nodule detection software.
Finally, the company is developing InnerviewGI, a CT colonography package that features a work-in-progress application for automated polyp detection, with Medicsight of London.
