Nasdaq grants Merge seven-week extension

The Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel has given Merge Technologies until August 29 to file its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2005, its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, and all required restatements to maintain its common stock listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

In addition, the Milwaukee-based firm must also file its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, by August 29 to regain compliance with Nasdaq listing standards.

The company said that it is working to submit all necessary financial reports by the August 29 deadline.
