VirtualScopics shows Q2 sales increase

Computerized image analysis developer VirtualScopics reported that sales for its fiscal 2006 second quarter (end-June 30) were $1.3 million, a 27% increase over the comparable period in fiscal 2005.

Net losses for the period were $1.2 million, of which $564,000 was attributed to the inclusion of noncash compensation in the quarterly results, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.
