Philips Medical Systems is unveiling its ViewForum release 6 volumetric workstation for MR, CT, and general x-ray.

The firm said that images from all supported modalities can be viewed, manipulated, and compared in the same environment, providing access to all patient image data. In addition, multiple examinations can be viewed simultaneously for comparison, the vendor noted.

ViewForum release 6, which runs on the Microsoft Windows XP platform, is scheduled to be released this month, according to Andover, MA-based Philips.
