Growth in its OEM-based product lines propelled Swedish image enhancement developer ContextVision to higher revenues in the third quarter (end-September 30).
Revenues more than doubled to 23.4 million Swedish kronor ($3.6 million U.S.), compared with 10.9 million kronor ($1.7 million) in the third quarter of 2006. The Stockholm-based company also posted an operating profit of 12.3 million kronor ($1.9 million), compared with 600,000 kronor ($93,000) in the same quarter a year ago.
ContextVision noted that the demand was led primarily by interest in its GOPView US, ultrasound real-time image enhancement software, as well as demand for image enhancement software from the x-ray industry.
