Fovia Medical of Palo Alto, CA, has signed a research license agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to integrate its High Definition Volume Rendering (HDVR) technology into the Boston-based facility's advanced imaging research.
For the past decade, researchers in MGH's 3D laboratory have been developing clinical 3D imaging to assist radiologists and clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. By incorporating visualization with Fovia's research application software, MGH hopes to enhance the development of new paradigms for interpretation of multidimensional medical images and improve patient care.
