Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, has appointed Robert James Taylor, Ph.D., as its new president, effective November 25.
Taylor joined TeraRecon in February 2001 as an executive vice president, and in November of that year was promoted to chief operating officer (COO). He will continue to serve as the company's COO, TeraRecon said.
Former president and CEO Dr. Motoaki Saito, Ph.D., will remain as CEO and chairman of the board.
