NextComputing displays personal supercomputers at RSNA

NextComputing of Nashua, NH, entered the medical imaging arena showcasing a line of flextop computers at the RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago. The computers offer high-performance processors, graphics capabilities, and storage in a portable product, about the size of a briefcase.

The NextDimenson Evo HD is designed as a personal supercomputer to permit rapid data throughput capable of handling advanced visualization medical imaging software, according to the company. The compact size permits deployment in space-limited settings, as well as when transportability is key.
