VirtualScopics gains Japanese patent

Computerized image analysis developer VirtualScopics has announced issuance of a Japanese patent for its "System and Method for 4D Reconstruction and Visualization."

The Rochester, NY-based firm said the software platform covered under this patent has been used to develop musculoskeletal image analysis products used by pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the development of drugs, devices, and biologics.
