Imaging software firm Pie Medical Imaging of Maastricht, Netherlands, has released an upgraded version of its quantitative MR Flow analysis software.
CAAS MR Flow allows users to perform quantitative flow analysis on phase-contrast MR images. It reduces time spent on interpreting velocity-encoded MR data by using automatic contour detection for analyzing the blood flow in vessels and through heart valves.
The upgraded version now includes phase offset correction based on phantom images. Phase offset correction can be directly applied to images under analysis for faster and more accurate flow quantification, according to Pie.
