MR technology provider Invivo of Orlando, FL, announced an agreement with CorTechs Labs of La Jolla, CA, to become the key U.S. distributor for NeuroQuant.
The NeuroQuant application is now integrated with Invivo's DynaSuite Neuro, providing enhanced diagnostic capabilities to help in the assessment of patients with Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, and other neurological disorders, according to the company.
NeuroQuant is intended for automatic labeling, visualization, and volumetric quantification of segmentable brain structures from a set of MR images. It takes high-resolution 3D T1-weighted, sagittal, noncontrast-enhanced MRI scans and automatically processes the large amount of data required for review.
DynaSuite Neuro helps transition advanced neurological applications and functional MRI from the research environment to the day-to-day clinical practice, according to Invivo. By incorporating NeuroQuant, clinicians can now use DynaSuite Neuro to quantify the volume of the hippocampus and other neurological structures.
