Advan debuts flat-panel displays

Flat-panel monitor manufacturer Advan International debuted a new line of TFT/LCD flat-panel displays at this month's Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology.

AMM15TK is a 15-inch, diagonal flat-panel display designed for medical applications that require digital-quality medical instrumentation, according to the Fremont, CA-based vendor. It can be used in a wide variety of patient care environments, including vital sign monitoring, bedside administration, DR/CR capture, and other medical instrumentation systems. The display features high levels of brightness, clarity, contrast ratio, and performance, as well as several touch-screen options, according to Advan.

The other addition, AGM18TK, is an 18-inch, diagonal touch-screen flat panel. Advan believes the display is suitable for advanced DR/CR, patient/bedside and vital sign monitoring, and other medical instrumentation applications. The monitor includes surface-acoustic wave (SAW) touch-screen technology, which provides bright clarity and operates effectively with either a stylus or a finger with gloved hands, according to Advan.

AGM18TK also includes a controller/interface card that automatically scales the incoming signal for full-screen viewing. Both AGM18TK and AMM15TK come with a 36-month limited product warranty.
