The Eastman Kodak Health Group showed upgrades to its digital mammography portfolio at the American College of Radiology (ACR) National Conference on Breast Cancer, taking place this week in San Diego, CA.
The CareStream Mammography Workstation, available in June, is designed to review all types of digital imaging studies of the breast, including images captured by the Kodak DirectView CR Mammography feature for CR 850, CR 950, and CR 975 systems (still a work-in-progress pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance).
The currently available Mammography CAD System incorporates the CareStream Hosted Information Management (HIM) system so scanned mammograms can be securely transmitted, stored, and received, according to the Rochester, NY-based company.
