Templeton Readings of Sparks, MD, will introduce its new RadExpertOpinion (REO) service at this year's RSNA show.
Templeton uses the Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) software from Atlanta-based PACS developer Neurostar Solutions to send cases to REO without the need for a virtual private network, allowing access anywhere and anytime to Templeton's network of radiology subspecialists in a full range of disciplines.
Images are sent and clinical information is entered from the requesting site, followed by a consultation report that is returned in an automated method. When a radiologist comes across a more challenging case or needs help with a reading or interpretation, REO offers consultation services to help resolve the issue. REO is globally accessible.
Templeton also has new partners to provide services to clients in the areas of 3D reconstruction, transcription, billing, PACS, and networking technologies.
