Minneapolis-based Virtual Radiologic will showcase the services provided by its more than 65 radiologists covering more than 500 radiology practices in hospitals, clinics, and imaging facilities across the U.S.
Virtual Radiologic helps to augment and extend their customers' onsite services with preliminary and official interpretations for emergency and nonemergency needs, as well as subspecialty consultations 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Teleradiology services include reading studies in all modalities, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine. Subspecialty coverage includes neuroradiology, cardiac, MR muscular/skeletal, pediatric radiology, PET, and other 3D postprocessing applications.
Radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology and are licensed in all 50 states. Their credentials have been verified to Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
Virtual Radiologic also is JCAHO-accredited and has connected all clients in a common network, while maintaining HIPAA security and data segregation.
