Women's imaging vendor Hologic of Bedford, MA, has completed its acquisition of computer-aided detection (CAD) firm R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA.
Under the terms of an agreement signed in April this year, the purchase price for the transaction is approximately $220 million, payable in approximately 4.6 million shares of common stock, Hologic said.
