Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Confirma of Bellevue, WA, has installed its CADstream for prostate software at four research sites, including Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
The research sites are assisting Confirma in the development and commercialization of CADstream for prostate imaging using MRI. The prostate application is designed to offer physicians clinically valuable tools for improved quality, standardization, and efficiency in MRI prostate studies.
Except for skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common malignancy in American men.
