Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer VuCOMP has named James Pike, company co-founder and its chief technology officer, as president.
Pike is taking the helm from Jeffrey Wehnes, co-founder and longtime CEO, as VuCOMP enters a new growth phase, the firm said. Wehnes is stepping down from the firm.
Pike played a pivotal role in the successful development and launch of VuCOMP's breast cancer detection technologies, M-Vu Breast Density and M-Vu CAD, the company said. He will work closely with Chief Operating Officer Barry Burgdorf to continue to refine and simplify pricing models, enhance channel partnerships, drive sales, and streamline product development.
