Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon unveiled new artificial intelligence (AI) software at RSNA 2019 in Chicago.
The firm introduced AI Sync, a software enhancement for EnvoyAI, which delivers AI findings into radiology reports and connects multiple algorithms. AI Sync uses information gleaned from actual use to automatically prepare AI results and present them for verification before, during, or after the radiologists' interpretations are completed, while still giving radiologists complete control.
Through AI Sync, AI-generated medical images that correlate to AI findings are also synchronized with the PACS. In addition, metadata are saved in a structured database for future use.
Also at RSNA 2019, TeraRecon debuted its AI Key-Workflow, which leverages AI Sync to deliver AI-generated results with bidirectional communication between the physician and AI, systems and AI, and also among multiple algorithms.
AI Key-Workflow is designed to deliver near-zero-click comprehensive clinical experiences and iNtuition workflows using AI-enhanced functionality and automation, according to the company.
The AI software is planned for commercialization throughout the first quarter of 2020, TeraRecon said.
