Israeli artificial intelligence software developer Aidoc said that the Foundation Institute for Research and Study of Diagnostic Imaging in São Paulo, Brazil, has used its software on CT scans for over 100,000 patients.
The software has identified and triaged thousands of urgent cases for priority review by radiologists and saved lives, according to the vendor. It reviews the CT scans for life-threatening conditions such as intracranial hemorrhage, cervical spine fracture, and pulmonary embolism.
