Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer RapidAI has announced that it has qualified for the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) new technology add-on payment (NTAP) for software.
NTAP is part of CMS' inpatient prospective payment system. The qualification will allow RapidAI to expand access to its Rapid LVO (large vessel occlusion) cerebrovascular imaging software for triage and notification of stroke, the company said.
