Advanced visualization and image analytics software developer Qmenta has appointed Vesna Prchkovska, PhD, as its new CEO. She replaces Rob Bancroft, who was named to the post in January 2020.
Vesna Prchkovska, PhD.Prchkovska comes to the position after serving as chief operating officer for Qmenta. Her doctorate is in biomedical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands; she also earned a postdoctorate degree in neuroscience and neuroimaging from August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS) and was awarded the Marie Curie Intra European Fellowship in 2013.
The company has also tapped Glenn Thomas as its new chief commercial officer. Thomas comes to the firm from GE Healthcare, where he served as global chief marketing officer.
Finally, Qmenta has named Landon McKenna as chair of its board of directors. McKenna has served as the company's president and chief commercial officer for the last seven years, and he will continue in his role as president.
